RSI Wine Mavens is a wine marketing firm that specializes in delivering high touch, high value service to our clients. Our firm has fresh, innovative approaches to wine representation and placement that we employ to drive the optimum amount of sales for your wines.

Our marketing focus is the southeastern United States with special emphasis on Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Alabama and South Carolina. We have a staffing structure that employs experienced sales consultants in all strata of wines – from fine wine sales to larger retail sales. These consultants work with the restaurants and hospitality locations, wine stores, and retail outlets as well as work closely with the chosen distributor in the market to ensure the wines we broker are always properly represented, according to our clients’ needs.

A key aspect of our approach to marketing your wines is to understand that ‘one size does not fit all'. We will work with you and develop a plan to suit your needs. Your needs may be full marketing and representation of your wines. On the other hand your needs may be for agent representation.  We will construct a relationship to satisfy you.

Our process is essential to the maximizing the opportunity for your wines. In summary, RSI Wine Mavens’ mission is to:

  • Understand the winery, its heritage, and its positioning with wine reviewers and competitors
  • Jointly design a marketing plan for your wines in the targeted markets
  • Recommend the best distributor for your wines
  • Work with your current distributor if the wine is already in the market
  • Gain state approval for market entry and label changes
  • Plan and implement promotional events
  • Participate in trade tastings and local wine shows
  • Meet with the distributor to ensure the sell-through goals are accomplished
  • Make sales calls to promote sales of your wine
  • Garner high impact placements in retail stores, effectively utilizing POS materials
  • Recommend standard and promotional pricing strategies

As ongoing service, we meet with the distributors in each market at the beginning of the year to assess the previous year's results and to formalize the plan for the upcoming year. We share our plan-o-gram with the distributor after it is approved by the winery.

RSI Wine Mavens’ credentials include principals with a combined 40+ years experience within the wine industry. The majority of this expertise is within wine sales, distribution, large account management. We have an additional 20+ years experience with an emphasis in global technology business management, sales and marketing. We are qualified to work with you!
